Martisa was imported here from New Jersey in 2007. She has worked as a veterinary assistant since 2002, prior to that, she worked at a humane society and a children’s daycare center. Caring for those who cannot care for themselves is clearly in her blood. She also loves working out regularly and hiking. She also enjoys obstacle course racing and you may occasionally find her on the couch “Netflix and chilling” with the family. She has three dogs, Harvey - Rat Terrier Mix, Paige - Black Lab Mix, and Mowgli - Doodle, one cat named Jade, her 13-year-old daughter Jazzlyn and her partner, Rachael. She splits her work hours between our sister emergency hospital, Animal Hospital of Towne Lake in Woodstock GA, and here at Due West Animal Hospital, which allows her to offer a large array of skills and talents to help you and your loved one. As a newbie to Due West Animal Hospital, she hopes to call your hometown vet her new home away from home.
