Dr. Alexandra Lierman is originally from Indiana and earned her Bachelor of Science degree from Hanover College before completing her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) at Purdue University.

Dr. Lierman is a veterinarian at our sister hospital, Highway 92 Animal Hospital, where she continues to practice full-time. She will be seeing patients at Due West Animal Hospital on Tuesdays. She joined the DWAH team in the summer of 2025 and is known for her meticulous attention to detail, broad medical knowledge, and compassionate approach to patient care.

She is passionate about continuing education and regularly seeks opportunities to expand her skills and knowledge in order to provide the highest level of care to her patients.

Outside of work, Dr. Lierman enjoys camping, hiking, biking, and traveling with her husband. She is dedicated to building lasting, trusting relationships with clients and their pets and is committed to supporting their health and happiness at every stage of life.
